September was a busy month with two very successful fundraising events held for the Foundation. Thanks very much for your support! Remember, your care is our cause.

You Helped Us Reach the Finish Line!
Thanks for Supporting the G&M Hospital Challenge in the Wasaga Beach HSBC Triathlon

On Sat. Sept. 12th, the G&M Hospital was tremendously well represented at the Wasaga Beach HSBC Triathlon. Physicians, staff & volunteers of the G&M Hospital actively participated in the G&M Challenge by running, swimming and biking in this fun annual event. The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous fall day as 9 teams and 11 individuals gave their all for our community Hospital.
Thanks to the following teams who helped us reach the finish line in paying for our new digital radiography x-ray unit:

Are you ready? The preliminary fundraising tally indicates we are close to $69,000 in contributions for invoice payment of our new digital radiography x-ray unit! Thanks to our wonderful community support, including band The Return Trip, who entertained the fans and participants with their musical talent. We are especially thrilled to note we had fourteen physicians, many staff and community members take time out of their busy schedules to train, fundraise and participate in our event.

Join our panel of experts as they lead us through the process of Advance Care Planning. Dr. Robert Butcher, a popular speaker on medical ethics will share with us how and why to plan our medical care and let our wishes be known. Local lawyer Michael Stahr also joins us to speak about documenting our advance care plan.
